Maryam Eid Al Mansouri Showcases Her Creativity in Her First Participation at Sikka Art & Design Festival in Dubai
Emirati artist Maryam Eid Al Mansouri participated for the first time in the Sikka Art & Design Festival in Dubai, where she presented a mural artwork inspired by rich heritage elements, most notably the old postage stamp and the number (8), which is associated with one of the oldest traditional types of chocolate.
Al Mansoori’s participation was praised by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, who commended her creative ideas and the artistic approach she showcased during her visit to the festival.
Al Mansouri’s participation in “Sikka” follows her success in previous art festivals. She is currently working on several major artistic projects, including a collaboration with a leading company, which will be announced soon, further strengthening her growing presence in the Emirati art scene.
It is worth noting that the 13th edition of the Sikka Art & Design Festival features more than 350 artworks and installations, over 30 regional and international participations, and more than 450 workshops and panel discussions, enhancing the festival’s role as a key platform for supporting young talents and emerging artists.
